Weekend in Raleigh

Nathan and I were in Raleigh over the weekend. We caught up with Irene, my roommate from undergrad days at William and Mary. Irene was taking care of nephews Sean & Donovan, ages 5 and 2.5. It was a blast for Nathan - he had the perfect partners for a weekend of fun. In addition to lots of bike riding and time in the pool, we visited the NC Museum of Science and ate lunch at Big Ed's.

We topped off the adventure with an extra-bubbley bath in the jacuzzi.


On Sunday, Nathan and I enjoyed brunch with Michael & Pat. It's always great to see them and pursue their home for new art. Nathan's favorite piece continues to be the dragon yard sculpture:
